Dr Vy.
(Vysalan Srianandarajah)

General Practitioner

Dr. Vy (Vysalan Srianandarajah) is an experienced and friendly GP coming to Yamba from a very busy practice in Bondi Junction. He grew up in Sydney and is new to Yamba but has been coming here on holidays for years. His wife Casey grew up in the Clarence Valley and they have recently moved back to enjoy the sea change while raising their young family.


Dr. Vy has a number of special interests including mental health (in particular male adolescent), sports medicine and men’s health. He also has a special passion for caring for families across the generations and developing long-lasting relationships with each of his patients. Dr. Vy is thorough, and efficient and will leave you walking out feeling cared for.

Dr Megan (Meg) Hosken

General Practitioner

Meg grew up in the country and she loves the people, lifestyle and giving back to the community. She worked as a nurse practitioner and midwife for 27 years in various places around the world including the UK, Canada and Afghanistan before studying medicine. She has a particular interest in women’s health and palliative care.

 

Outside of work, Meg has two corgis and loves to cook and travel.

Casey Srianandarajah (nee. Browning)

Practice Manager

Casey was born and raised in the Clarence Valley and after traveling and working far and wide, has returned to raise her young family in this gorgeous part of the world. Casey has had a long and enjoyable career as a Dietitian – running her own business in Bondi Junction in Sydney among other roles on the North Coast, in Sydney and in London. Managing Yamba Doctors is a career change for Casey, and she is excited to help bring this much needed service to the local community. 

Hayley

Registered Nurse

A local to the Yamba region, Hayley was born and raised in the Clarence Valley. She moved to QLD where she studied to become a qualified registered nurse before returning to work locally and raise her young family by the beach.

Judy

Registered Nurse

Judy is an experienced Registered Nurse coming to Yamba from Port Stephens. She has 20 years’ experience working in the General Practice setting. She loves exploring the local outdoors and sailing on the Clarence.

Angela

Consultant

Angela moved to Yamba in 1999 from her hometown of Tamworth deciding the Clarence Valley was the perfect place to raise her family after holidaying here each school holidays as a child herself.

Angela has worked in general practice since the age of 18. Beginning in reception, progressing to practice manager and practice owner. She is passionate about creating a positive team approach to provide a high standard of healthcare in a caring environment for our patients.

Jaye

Receptionist

Jaye moved to Yamba over 20 years ago from Avalon Beach with her family. She joined the team at Maclean Medical in 2005. In 2007 she started her own family business in Solar. Her two younger boys went to McAuley College Grafton, and both worked in the family business and became electricians. After 15 years she decided to sell the business and see her daughter in the UK, travel a bit and spend time with her son and granddaughter in Brisbane. Joining the team at Yamba Doctors is a great way for Jaye to keep in touch with the community and still having time to spend with family.

Michelle

Receptionist

Michelle moved from the Surf Coast, Victoria to beautiful Yamba. She enjoys the warm weather, nature and community feel of the Clarence Valley. Michelle has worked in various facets of the health industry for over 25 years.
